Top of the Shelf #8

School starts this week for me. I don’t know how much I will actually be able to read this week. I’ll start with the usually three and hope for the best!

A weekly meme on the books on the top of my list to read and books recently acquired, borrowed, or bought. Inspired by the Story Siren’s In My Mailbox.

Top of the Shelf
What’s next on my to-read list for the upcoming week. To make my to-read list a little more interesting and varied, each of the three books must fall under a certain category:

Bullet Young at Heart – Young adult novel.
Bullet Not Your Sister’s Book – Adult novel that a six-year-old wouldn’t (and sometimes shouldn’t) touch
Bullet Market Fresh – Recently released or soon to be released book.

  • Young at HeartI am Number Four by Pittacus Lore. Borrowed from the NYPL ebook library.
  • Not Your Sister’s BookTen Ways to Be Adored When Landing a Lord by Sarah MacLean. From NetGalley.
  • Market FreshMockingjay by Suzanne Collins. YES YES YES!!!

From Internship
Since it was my last week at internship, it’ll be the last time I’ll get to snag cool books from there. :(

  1. “Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins” OH MY GOD. This is such a weird coincidence because I just finished reading THE HUNGER GAMES an hour ago! It was such a great book that I never left my bedroom until I got through it. Looking forward to devouring the rest of the trilogy!!!
