Top of the Shelf #30

A weekly meme on the books on the top of my list to read and books recently acquired, borrowed, or bought. Inspired by the Story Siren’s In My Mailbox.

Top of the Shelf / Currently Reading
What’s next on my to-read list for the upcoming week. I doubt I’ll actually get to both of these this week. Since I’m leaving for vacation on Friday and I am limiting the amount of physical books that I am going to carry (I think the verdict is 2-3 paperbacks/arcs). I hope  that I will have a quickie what I’m going to read on vacation post before I leave! :)

Books snagged from my internship. I got Choker for my sister.

    1. I’m definitely reading it soon! :) I decided that I’m bringing it with me when I leave for vacation.

      1. I’ve read the first book. It’s a bit slow but one of those where the characters stand out and really grow on you. I wouldn’t be surprised if the second book could stand-along…I’m not sure.

  1. White Cat was great and I finished The Demon’s Covenant which was also great so yes you should start the Demon’s Lexicon really soon xD. The story line really stood out to me and was very different compared to many other YAs.

    1. Ok! No promises about Demon’s Lexicon, but my goal will be to START the series before the end of 2011. :P Hah.

  2. Kat Incorrigible is kind of awesome. I thought it would be too young for me but I seriously liked it. And Choker was kinda disturbing. Heh. Enjoy your books!

    1. Fizobournes in Exile sounds interesting but I had no clue that it was part of a series! :P Sigh, I may have to hunt down the first book before I even get a chance to read it!

  3. Prom and Prejudice was fun–it definitely made me want to read more Teen Jane Austen adaptations. I also love the Fitzosbornes in Exile. Can’t wait for book 3.

  4. Prom and Prejudice is such a fun, sweet read! I hope you enjoy it.

Also, Choker sounds weird. If you read it I’ll be interested to hear your thoughts!
