Top of the Shelf #24

A weekly meme on the books on the top of my list to read and books recently acquired, borrowed, or bought. Inspired by the Story Siren’s In My Mailbox.

Top of the Shelf / Currently Reading
What’s next on my to-read list for the upcoming week.

Bought
Basically all the books I’ve bought this week with the exception of Scrivener’s Moon, I decided to leave at home. The Marbury Lens is currently with my friend Alex. :P I really enjoyed both Rotters and The Marbury Lens so much that I just had to get copies for my personal library.

Gifted
I received a Random Act of Kindness from Briana at The Book Pixie. She sent me a copy of Two-Way Street! I was also a gifted a copy of The Accidental Hero from internship. :)

Received for Review / Won / Etc.
Thanks to Book Soulmates for Notorious Pleasures! I won’t be reviewing that one on the blog, but I’m really excited to read it for fun. :)

  1. awesome books! i’m a sucker for semi-cheesy YA contemporary romances and i quite enjoyed two-way street–hope you do too. enjoy all your books :)

  2. Nice books! I’m especially interested in seeing what you think of Two Way Street, Lady Macbeth’s Daughter, and Enter Three Witches. I liked the one book I read by Lisa Klein (Cate of the Lost Colony). I liked the premise of Two Way Street more than the execution.

    1. I may not get to Lady Macbeth’s Daughter, but I guess I will post a review on Enter Three Witches eventually! There seems to be some interest with those books. :P

Well, I hope I enjoy Two Way Street. We’ll see!

  3. i haven’t read behemoth yet, but i’m planning to… heard so many good things about it. so shelly though, i stopped reading at the middle of the book and haven’t picked it up yet. i wasn’t so into the book at that time. i hope it’s going to be a different experience for you. BTW, i’m a new follower. your blog is just so cute and i like how you uniquely rate each book review. totally awesome!

    1. I remember Leviathan being a so so experience so I’m also really hoping that Behemoth is better! Thanks for stopping by. :)

  4. I don’t think I’ve read any Lauren Barnholdt yet, but Two Way Street looks like it could be a cute read. Hope you enjoy!
