Top of the Shelf #22

A weekly meme on the books on the top of my list to read and books recently acquired, borrowed, or bought. Inspired by the Story Siren’s In My Mailbox.

Top of the Shelf / Currently Reading
What’s next on my to-read list for the upcoming week. I got Blood Promise from the e-book library last week. I always forget about e-books in my posts…

Books Bought and/or Signed
If you read last week’s post, I attended the Teen Author Festival at my favorite children’s indie, Books of Wonder. Here’s what I got signed last week. I bought Prom & Prejudice and Clarity and brought the others from home. (Pictures are kinda sucky this week. Sorry! I had to use my vado video camera since my digital camera decided to run out of battery.)

Books Won and From Trade
I won a few books this week: Rotters from RandomBuzzers, Cleopatra’s Moon from Arthur A Levine’s twitter (@AALBooks), and The Dark City from Library Thing. I also traded with Tawni from The Book Worms and got Dark Mirror.

E-Books
I was gifted some e-books as well from Ivy of Ivy Reads and was lent a book by my best friend Sunny. I also accepted a review request of Inevitable from an author and was approved to review The Girl in the Steel Corset through NetGalley (Thanks Lisa!).

    1. It might take a while, but I’ll let you know. My best friend is a huge Austen fan and she loved it, so we’ll see….

  2. How are you enjoying the VA series? I love it! It’s my favourite series of all time. I can’t believe it took me so long to discover it.
    Enjoy all of your books!
