Top 5 Most Wanted of 2011

This is a list made for a contest over at Princess Bookie. It’s a lot of fun, and I highly recommend that you make your own list!

Top 5 Most Wanted (in no particular order):

  1. Across the Universe by Beth Revis – I love the concept of this book. And I love the cover. All the reviews make me more excited to read it.
  2. Forever by Maggie Stiefvater – After reading Linger, I itched for more. Can’t wait to see what happens in the final installment! I had a feeling the cover would be red. ;)
  3. Scrivener’s Moon by Philip Reeve – I can’t wait to see the cover for this book. The Hungry City Chronicles Prequel is one of my favorite series!
  4. Everlasting #2 by Angie Frazier – This was the last book I worked on during my internship at Scholastic. It’s fantastic. I love all of Angie’s work. I can’t wait to snag a copy of my own! <3
  5. Want to Go Private? by Sarah Darer Littman – I love Sarah Darer Littman’s work! It’s the only contemporary YA that I won’t think twice about picking up. Contemp is usually not my cup of tea, but I love her writing. The concept for this book sounds amazing, too. Can’t wait!!!

  1. Everlasting #2 is coming out next year? I’m so excited, I can’t wait to see what happens next!

I’m also excited for Across the Universe! I read the first chapter on the website and now I can’t stop thinking about it lol.

  2. I would love to have Across the Universe too! I haven’t figured out which book will be at the top of my wish list since Matched showed up for me yesterday.

I am really looking forward to a couple of the other 2011 dystopian releases too, maybe Delirium most of all?
