Q: Many readers/bloggers are also big music fans. Tell us about a few of your favorite bands/singers that we should listen to in 2012.
I am actually not a huge music person. It shocks a lot of people that I can go for long periods of time without listening to any music. But when I do, I listen to: Jack Johnson, Brett Dennen, & Jay Brannan.
My favorite party / dance-in-my-room-when-no-one-is-watching music is Katy Perry.
Q: 2012 Must Reads: Which books are at the top of your list to be read this year (new or old releases)?
I have loads of books I want to read this year. But on top of all the sequels that I will definitely buy on release date, the books at the top of my to-read list are the books I didn’t get to read last year.
Examples:
- Wither by Lauren DeStefano
- Wolfsbane by Andrea Cremer

Hopping through. I love Katy Perry and Jack Johnson. Great choices.
My Hop
Katy Perry’s music is totally fun for dancing around your room. It certainly gets me hyped up! And Jack Johnson, on the other hand, is so chill and relaxed.
I like Jack Johnson, too. His song “Banana Pancakes” was a cool-down song for an aerobics class I had a few years back, so I got hooked on his music by associating it with relaxing. :-)

Wolfsbane is a good read, though honestly I thought it was a step down from Nightshade. Still, the second book is usually the weakest, so… *shrug*

Shooting for the Moon
Yup, usually I don’t find sequels all that great, but I’ve had the ARC for third book sitting on my shelf for a while so I know I have to get to it sooner or later. Thanks for stopping by.
