Who do you cheer for?
I’m not an avid sports person. But if I really had to pick, I’d have to go for the NY Giants… Just because they’re the team my family roots for and that they’re the local team.
And a quick question to my Blog Friends / Followers…
Who’s attending BEA/BBC?
I’m trying to decide (have been for a while) whether or not I’m going to go. It’s really too far in advance for me to plan since I don’t know how my semester schedule is going to work out in terms of finals. But then again, I do live in New York City so it isn’t like I have to travel (a quick commute via subway does not count, obviously). And the cost? I’m a poor college kid. I heard of some ways to get around having to pay by applying via media badge, but I’m not convinced I’ll qualify. I’d love to hear your plans / thoughts / comments about BEA in general!
I’m like you, not really an avid sports fan. Haven’t really been ever. The closest I get to cheering is wishing for the Panthers to lose because I can’t stand them. Some home team spirit I have, huh?

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I’m already a follower. :]
I’d love to go to BEA/BBC. NYC isn’t really that far away for me to get to, but I haven’t decided if I can make it yet. It’d be awesome if I could, though.

Sports aren’t my thing at all, either. I’m glad I’m in good company.
I would honestly LOVE to attend BEA, but I don’t know if it’s a feasible plan at the moment. It’s definitely something I’ll keep in mind, and if circumstances allow, or if I win the lottery, I’ll plan to be there. *fingers crossed*
I’m your newest follower. And a Rutgers fan!

Who do I cheer for? When I follow sports at all (and that hasn’t been much lately) I follow people and teams who impress and inspire me.
My answers are all over the map (literally!) but all perfectly understandable once explained. Follow me over to my blog and read all about it –

I’m making it my mission in life to get to BEA this year. Actually, it’s going to be my reward for finishing my current manuscript on time. It’s going to be a big stretch for me financially though, because I’m having to come from AZ. I’m kicking myself because I used to live in NYC and actually got invited to BEA one year and had no clue what it was and turned it down. Oh well, we live and learn. The good news is I have friends I can stay with while I’m there, the bad news is none of them are exactly conveniently located to Javitz. And sleeping on couches is never fun. lol. Let us know what you decide.
Hopping by to say have a great weekend!

I WISH I could go to BEA this year. But alas, lack of funds prevents me from doing so. If I had the money I’d skip class in a heartbeat (after arranging to take tests before hand–I’m not that much of a rebel), especially since it would be a great educational opportunity and would present the chance to make new connections with bloggers, publishers, authors, etc. I say you should go for it since you’re so close to begin with. Just work things out with your teachers so you can turn in homework/take tests in advance or turn your papers via email.
Old follower, wanted to say hi! Drop by if you get a chance!
Have a great weekend!
