I’ve seen a lot of Re-Create Cover Contests but never bothered entering until last night. I was itching to do something on Photoshop since I haven’t touched it in a while. I stumbled upon The Sapphire Talisman contest on La Femme Readers and decided to enter.

I personally love how my cover turned out. This was my first time ever recreating a book cover so I was very happy with the results. Originally, I was trying to make the model’s hair from brunette to blonde to portray Julia, the main protagonist, but it turned out to be a lot easier to turn the hair read to represent Alora.
