Archive for Challenge
As part of my new years resolutions, I promised I would go to the library more often. When I stumbled across this challenge, I couldn’t resist. I had to sign up!
Goal:
Stacked: Borrow, read and return 2 books per month (TOTAL 24 books)
I have no planned reads as of yet… I’ll read whatever will be available through the library once I get back to NYC.
As much as I love reading YA, I feel like I should broaden my horizons and read other things… I’ve been wanting to read more classics and I finally convinced myself to take upon another challenge even if I just wanted to limit myself to my personal challenges and the 2011 Debut Author Challenge. At least with the classics challenge I will get a start on two of my goals: read more classics & read a few freebies I have on my nook.

Wordsworth Classics Challenge Tentative Reading List:
Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass by Lewis Carroll
Persuasion by Jane Austen
Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens
Tess of the d’Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy
Vanity Fair by William Makepeace Thackeray
Target: 5 Classics – Bourgeois

This is technically the first time I’ve ever signed up for a challenge so I am so happy to have accomplished the goal I have set for myself. I read almost all of the books I planned to (I read a galley of an upcoming dystopian instead of Hunger by Michael Grant) and reviewed them all!
Infernal Devices by Philip Reeve
Predator’s Gold by Philip Reeve
A Darkling Plain by Philip Reeve
Awaken by Katie Kacvinsky (Review to be published in 2011!)
The Maze Runner by James Dashner
Thanks so much to Bart’s Bookshelf for hosting! I’ll definitely be around for next year’s challenge.
